MUG CHPTA
(also known as Moong Jor) is a traditional Indian snack made from whole green mung beans that are soaked, pressure-cooked or steamed, and then flattened (chapta) before being roasted or fried. This process creates a thin, disc-like shape with a signature crunch, making it a popular high-protein, high-fiber alternative to heavier fried snacks.

- Ingredients: Made from whole mung beans, typically seasoned with a "chatpata" (tangy and spicy) blend of salt, red chilli powder, dry mango powder (amchur), and occasionally black pepper.
- Texture: Extremely crispy and light because the beans are flattened into thin flakes.
- Usage: Often enjoyed as a standalone tea-time snack or used as a base for Moong Jor Chaat, where it is mixed with chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, and lemon juice
